"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." Jesus speaking in Matthew 5:9.

"For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father." Paul writing in Ephesians 2:14-18. Jesus made peace between us and God the Father.

"And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace..." Paul writing in Ephesians 6:15.

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" Isaiah writing in Isaiah 52:7.

"For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Isaiah writing in Isaiah 55:12

"Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." Paul writing in Romans 14:19. Not too many in churches today with that attitude. Not many peacemakers, either preaching peace with God or with each other. Seems like a lot of preachers are more interested in politics than peace with God or between the brethren.
