A very well written book that explains the marked difference between reform and modern liberalism, between the Progressive of pre-1937 and the Liberal of today, between the belief in the importance of production and the importance of consumption, and between attempts to reform and the push for "human rights". It discusses the failure of liberalism after 1973 due to many reasons, some of which will surprise you.
