The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution by Kevin R.C. Gutzman, J.D., Ph.D., Regnery Publishing, Washington D.C., 2007. This is a fascinating read and sure explains a lot. Certainly, it would not please either conservatives or liberals constantly shouting about our constitution. One of the things he shows very convincingly is how, from almost the beginning, it has been subverted by activist judges, beginning with John Marshall.
